Introduction

CoreTrustSeal certification is reliant on the volunteers that keep our review process afloat. The CoreTrustSeal Board would like to offer a discount to institutions that provide reviewers to the Assembly of Reviewers who start a minimum of six (6) reviews during their certificate period of three (3) years or until their next recertification. The discount will be valid for recertification only and is -33%, meaning that instead of 3,000 euro the institute pays 2,000 euro as an administration fee.

Rules and Conditions

• An organization/repository designates at least one reviewer who does the following during their certification period of 3 years or between approval of certification and submission of recertification:
  • Performs a minimum of 6 reviews. Please inform info[at] coretrustseal.org of your interest in the discount when assigning a reviewer as we will give the reviewer priority when assigning reviews.
  • Finishes at least one round per assigned review.
  • Returns their reviews within a timely manner, so within the deadlines set for them.
• The discount of 33% is only valid:
  • When a repository is applying for recertification and claims the discount by sending an email to finance[at] coretrustseal.org.
  • For one repository name.
• When submitting their recertification the organization/repository should ask for the discount by sending an email to finance[at] coretrustseal.org, so it can be taken into account in the payment process.

Incentives

• When recertifying the organization/ repository gets a discount of 33% on the administration fee.
• The reviewers and the organization/repository that they represent are listed on the Assembly of Reviewers webpage.

How to apply

Organizations/repositories: To apply for the 33% discount, send an email to finance[at] coretrustseal.org when you submit your recertification request.

Reviewers: if you want priority on reviewing applications please send an email to info[at]coretrustseal.org
